Editorial Work

In 2013, I joined the editorial team at Legacy: A Journal of American Women Writers as Managing Editor. Dedicated to intersectional feminist scholarship, the journal has published special issues on “Recovering Alice Dunbar-Nelson for the Twenty-First Century” and “American Women’s Writing and the Genealogies of Queer Thought” (forthcoming). I also serve as consultant (an external manuscript reviewer) for Legacy.

Previously, at the University of Illinois, I served as Managing Editor and then Assistant Editor for American Literary History (Oxford UP), a journal that has set the bar for scholarship in American cultural history for over twenty-five years.
